The SGRRIMHS has a Centralized A.C. Central Library, which supports the teaching and extension programmes of the college. The Central Library is Fully Automated using "ERP" (Enterprise Resource Planning)as a Library Software and well equipped with modern facilities like RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) Technology and resources in the form of books, journals, back volume of journals, WHO publications, CD ROMs and internet services. The library strives to provide timely, accurate and current information, and to provide an appropriate and comfortable academic environment for the users.

The Library is open on
Monday-Saturday : 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
The reading room is kept open Monday-Saturday : 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM (MID-NIGHT)
LOCATION
- The Central Library is located adjacent to the administrative block main building of the college.The organization is as follows.
- First Floor (In side) : Librarian's Office, Property Counter, Check Post, Circulation Counter (Issue & Return), Computer Room for Faculty Members, Reference Book Section, Book Section, WHO Publication, Reading Hall.
- First Floor (Out side) : U.G. Reading Room, Computer Room for student, Journal room , Faculty staff room, P.G. student reading room.
- Second Floor (Outside): U.G Reading Room (The Outside Reading Room remains open 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from Monday to Sunday)
Library Collection
The collection comprises mainly books, journals, theses, CDs, e-Journals (those that are free with print subscription), etc. The books are arranged on shelves according to Dewey Decimal Scheme of classification. The current journals and back volumes of journals are arranged on shelves in an alphabetical order by title. Within each title, the journals are arranged in chronigical order. The total collection of library as on 01 April 2025 is as follows.

Circulation (Issue / Return)
The books and journals are issued to bonafied members of the Library. The books & back volumes of journals are issued for a period of 2 weeks, current journals for 1 week. CDs for in-house use only.
