The Department of Cardiology at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital is an acknowledged centre of excellence. It is well known for its advanced, innovative research-backed and path-breaking services for heart patients. The Institute is known for its renowned cardiologists, electro physiologists, Cardiac intensivists and undertakes all kinds of complex procedures. The Institute is equipped with advanced Cath labs, FFR, IVUS, ICU, Non-invasive labs, Cardiac surgery theatres, CTICU and excellent room services backed up by well trained medical, nursing and technical staff.  

Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has 4 Consultants in the Cardiology department who are skilled in varied number of Cardiac Interventional procedures. Our centre has one of the busiest cardiology departments doing maximum number of cases in Uttarakhand, western Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh & Haryana.

Cardiology department is performing more than 450 Cardiac Cath procedures every month, >350 Angiographies, >150 Angioplasties and >10 Balloon Mitral Valvotomies. Our centre is also equipped with doing electrophysiological studies, device implantations (pacemaker, AICD and CRT-D) as well as pediatric interventions (ASD/VSD/PDA transcatheter closure).

Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has a multidisciplinary approach to cardiac care involving senior Cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care specialists, anesthetists, cardiac technicians and nurses. We provide comprehensive patient evaluation and appropriate interventional therapies which are completed on a timely basis.

Other Services

The department of Cardiology runs OPD services in all week day’s i.e from Monday to Saturday. The services provided are Out patient, In-patient ( of 24 X 7 services) including Coronary Care Unit (CCU) & Cardiology Ward, ECG, Echocardiography lab, Cath lab and TMT lab & Holter lab.

  • Diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders (Electrophysiology and catheter ablation of arrhythmias)
